My daughter sent this to me. Best rendition of Oh Danny Boy, EVER.

Missed Day 8. Day 9 so far.
I missed day 8, yesterday. Mainly because I fell off the wagon hard. But a day of fasting today will get me back on the wagon.
My small girl was sick through the night and early this morning. She is much better this afternoon. Hopefully her illness will spread no further. The small boy was sick on Tuesday. My big girl had her wisdom teeth out this week. And my large son, he is being himself.
I don’t have much else to write, other than I’m disappointed that I failed so miserably yesterday. But I am determined to make it up and get back on the program today and throughout the weekend.
Too Tired to Count, Must Be Day 7
I’ve been down this road before and I think it will soon be time to increase my calorie intake a bit. I know from experience that after awhile the body’s metabolism slows down, and so caloric intake has to be increased to continue weight loss.
Too tired to write anything intelligent. Enjoyed corn, broccoli, potatoes and a bite of cake today, couldn’t resist.
Day 6: Failure or not?
Success: 9 pounds lost as of this morning
Failure: Well, this probably really isn’t a failure. A friend mentioned to me that I probably should not forgo protein altogether. Hmmm. Maybe that combined with a crazy, continuous bout of insomnia is making me slug-like. So tonight, at work, there was food. There is NEVER food at work. But First Baptist Church had given our store manager Chick Fil-A sandwiches for us. Wow. I’m telling you, that never happens.
I can’t resist Chick fil-A.
So, I discarded the bun and devoured the chicken, tomato and lettuce. Not the pickles. I don’t know if a pickle is a fruit or a vegetable, but I do think it should have never made the list as a created food. Yuck.
So today I’ve had some delicious corn, broccoli and a Chick Fil A sandwich. Yum. But I do think I’ll try to add a little bit of protein to each day, to see if that helps with the tiredness.
Onward.
